This day we have recd SIPCOT notice under Sec(2) to surrunder or deliver possession to SPL Tahsildar within 30 days of the service of order the land as per schedule under survey no 142/4 ( 2 plots) signed by spl Tahsildar-Unit-III.
On contacting VGP Delhi, and subsequenty their Corporate office by them, we are informed that most people have got it or are in the process of getting the notices.

- some plot holders have received 1st notice with no follow-up about objections/meetings etc
- a percentage of plot holders have also been notified with 2nd notice last yers in some Chennai newspaper perhaps in March 2010.

please guide me for my proposal to buying a land in bal nallur village offered by sarala housing in sriperumbadur near valla kottai. Sarala housing told with in 3 month they will get DTCP approvel for their project. can i buy the land ? in future there is a possiblity to take over by SIPCOT ?

Sriperumbudur, located in proximity to Chennai, is a town in the Kanchipuram district of Tamilnadu, India. Once a sleepy Panchayat town, it is today fast emerging as the Industrial nerve centre of Tamil Nadu.
The town also has its own historical significance. It is the birth place of Sri Ramanuja, one of the most prominent Hindu Vaishnava saints. There is now a temple of Lord Vishnu at his birthplace. About an hour's easy drive from Chennai en-route to Kanchipuram, Sriperumbudur is the birth place of Sri Ramanuja,the 12th century Vaishnavite saint.
